TARSA Rec Program (U11-U19)

TARSA RECREATIONAL PROGRAM

Our TARSA Recreational Program is for boys and girls between the ages of U11 (Born in 2011) to U19 (born in 2003).  The TARSA Recreational teams participate in the Tampa Area Recreational Scheduling Association (TARSA).  This league is a scheduling body that is comprised of many local clubs and involves minimal travel within the Tampa Bay area.  For additional specific TARSA information please click here to go to the TARSA website.

  • U11/U12 teams will train at New Tampa Community Park and will play their home games at Benito Middle School. 
  • U13U/U14 thru U19 teams will train and play their home games at New Tampa Community Park, 17302 Commerce Park Blvd, Tampa, FL 33647.
  • Match Formats:
    • U11/U12 - 9 vs 9 with Goalkeepers
    • U13/U14 & up - 11 vs 11 with Goalkeeper

Teams are coached by volunteer coaches under the supervision of the Recreational Program Technical Director.

WHAT IS THE SOCCER REGISTRATION FEE?

TARSA Recreational Program

  • U11 – U19 - $260 (Full Uniform Set included)

LATE REGISTRATION:  After September 19th, 2021 at 11:59pm - Additional Fee $25.00

** All late registrants will be placed on a wait-list and will not be guaranteed a roster spot.  Some age groups may fill up before the posted deadlines.  DO NOT DELAY!!

 

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION FEE?

  • 17 Weeks Training Season
  • Two training sessions per week
  • Kid-Safe Program - Background check for all coaches/technical and admin staff 
  • Full Uniform Set – 1 home jersey, 1 training/away t-shirt, 1 pair of shorts, and 1 pair of socks
  • FYSA (Florida Youth Soccer Association) Player Registration Fee
  • “TARSA End of the Season Tournament (3 weeks)” - Optional
  • $100 team credit towards one tournament participation
  • Referee Fees
  • End of the Year Jamboree and Awards
  • Club Overhead Costs (fields maintenance, equipment, lights, administrative expenses, website)
  • Proactive and visible Technical Director and Technical Staff

Players are responsible for:

  • Shin guards
  • Soccer cleats
  • Soccer ball
    • U11/U12 - Size 4
    • U13/U14 and up - Size 5

WHAT IS PLAYER EVALUATION DAY?

Player evaluations are not tryouts, but an identification process to ensure that all teams are properly balanced and are mandatory for all age groups U11/U12 through U19. As a recreational program for players of all skill levels, this is an effort to ensure a more enjoyable experience to all.

 

WHEN/WHERE ARE THE GAMES AND PRACTICES?

  • Player Evaluation Day September 30th, 2021
  • Practice will begin October 11th, 2021
  • All games will be played on Saturdays or Sundays - 17 weeks season including an “End of the Season Tournament”
  • Practices and home games will be held at the New Tampa Community Park, 17302 Commerce Park Blvd, Tampa, FL 33647.
  • U11/U12 teams will train at New Tampa Community Park and will play their home games at Benito Middle School. 

@ If you have a special request for the training days and/or coach preference, YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION DURING THE ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY. After the registration deadline (9/19/21), no special requests will be accepted.

CAN I MAKE A SPECIAL REQUEST?

Special requests for Coach and practice nights are available during the registration process. These requests must be placed in the player’s GotSport account during online registration.  This special request would be considered if requested before the deadline (9/19/21).

Special requests via e-mail or via phone call will not be accepted.

Special requests for a particular coach or practice nights are not a guarantee.

A $50.00 fee (in addition to the club’s standard refund policy) will be kept if a member decides to not participate when a special request is not granted. (This will only be allowed if the request is submitted before the deadline 9/19/21). 

REFUND POLICY

Chargers S.C. reserves the right to deny any partial or full registration fees once registration and payment has been completed (payment is due at time of registration).

However, in cases of reasonable documented excuse (illness, severe injury, family relocation, etc.) filed BEFORE September 19th, 2021 a partial refund may be granted.
