LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. - This past weekend the Lakewood Ranch Chargers Boys U12 Red team, coached by Daniel Anderson, was crowned champion at the 2012 Kick or Treat Cup. The squad had a perfect weekend, going 3-0 in group play and winning the title 2-0 vs. Houston Dynamo-Tampa South.

The team opened group play with a tight 2-1 victory against the RYSA Aztecs, but shut things down defensively after that and didn't allow another goal. They finished out group play with wins of 2-0 vs. Dynamo South and 9-0 vs. Dynamo North to advance to the title game. Overall the team enjoyed a 15-1 scoring margin en route to the title.
