TAMPA AREA REC SOCCER ASSOC. (TARSA) RECREATIONAL PROGRAM

Our TARSA Recreational Program is for boys and girls between the ages of U11 (Born in 2014) to U19 (born in 2006). The TARSA Recreational teams participate in the TARSA League (Tampa Area Recreational Scheduling Association). This league is a scheduling body that is comprised of many local clubs and involves minimal travel within the Tampa Bay area. • U11/U12 teams will train at at New Tampa Community Park and will play their home games at Benito Middle School. 
• U13/U14 thru U19 teams will train and play their home games at New Tampa Community Park, 17302 Commerce Park Blvd, Tampa, FL 33647. 

Match Formats: 

• U11/U12 9 vs 9 with Goalkeepers 
• U13/U14 & Up 11 vs 11 with Goalkeepers 

 

Teams are coached by volunteer coaches under the supervision of the Recreational Program Technical Director.

 

WHAT IS THE REGISTRATION FEE?

• U11 – U19 - $285 (Capelli Uniform Full Set included)

LATE REGISTRATION: After September 8th, 2024 at 11:59pm - All registrations after 9/08/24 will be considered late and if we are able to place your child onto a team, an Additional Fee $25.00 will be assessed.

** All late registrants will be placed on a wait list and will not be guaranteed a roster spot. Some age groups may fill up before the posted deadlines. DO NOT DELAY!

 

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION FEE? 

• 20 Weeks Training Season 
• Two training sessions per week 
• Kid-Safe Program - Background check for all coaches/technical and admin staff 
• Capelli Uniform Full Set – 1 home jersey, 1 training/away t-shirt, 1pair of shorts, and 1 pair of socks 
• FYSA (Florida Youth Soccer Association) Player Registration Fee 
• “TARSA End of the Season Tournament (3 weeks)” - Optional 
• $100 team credit towards one tournament participation 
• Referee Fees 
• End of the Year Jamboree and Awards 
• Club Overhead Costs (fields maintenance, equipment, lights, administrative expenses, website) 
• Proactive and visible Technical Director and Technical Staff

 

Players are responsible for: 

• Shin guards 
• Soccer cleats 
• Soccer ball 
  • U11/U12 - Size 4 
  • U13/U14 and up - Size 5

WHAT IS PLAYER EVALUATION DAY?

Player evaluations are not tryouts, but an identification process to ensure that all teams are properly balanced and are mandatory for all age groups U11/U12 through U19. As a recreational program for players of all skill levels, this is an effort to ensure a more enjoyable experience to all.

 

WHEN/WHERE ARE THE GAMES AND PRACTICES?

• Practice will begin October 7th, 2024
• All games will be played on Saturdays or Sundays– 20 weeks season including an “End of the Season Tournament.”
• Practices and home games will be held at the New Tampa Community Park, 17302 Commerce Park Blvd, Tampa, FL 33647.
• U11/U12 teams will train at New Tampa Community Park and will play their home games at Benito Middle School.

CAN I MAKE A SPECIAL REQUEST?

Special requests for Coach and practice nights are available during the registration process. These requests must be placed in the player’s GotSoccer account during registration. This special request would be considered if requested before the deadline (09/08/24).

Special requests via e-mail, text or via phone call will not be accepted.

Special requests for a particular coach or practice night are not a guarantee.

If you have any special request (training nights, coach preference, team allocation), IT WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE REQUEST PER PLAYER.

YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION DURING THIS ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS ONLY. TYPE IT HERE!! No special request will be accepted after the deadline. We will do our best to accommodate your request but may not be able to honor it due to the roster sizes limits, game formats, field space and the logistics of the League.

 

A $50.00 fee (in addition to the club’s standard refund policy) will be kept if a member decides to not participate when a special request is not granted. (This will only be allowed if the request is submitted before the deadline 9/08/24.

 

REFUND POLICY
Chargers S.C. reserves the right to deny any partial or full registration fees once
registration and payment has been completed (payment is due at time of
registration).

However, in cases of reasonable documented excuse (illness, severe injury,
family relocation, etc.) filed BEFORE September 8th, 2024, a partial refund
may be granted.
