Our 14 WEEKS In-house Recreational Program is for children between the ages of U5 (Born in 2020) to U10 (born in 2015) playing against other teams within the club.

  • All practices and games are played at Benito Middle School, 10065 Cross Creek Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33647. 
  • Match Formats (based on player attendance):
    • U5/U6 (Under 5/6 – 2020/2019)
    • U7/U8 (Under 7/8 – 2018/2017)
    • U9/U10 (Under 9/10 – 2016/2015) 
  • Teams are coached by volunteer coaches under the supervision of the Recreational Program Technical Director.

WHAT IS THE REGISTRATION FEE?

  • U5/U6 - $220 (Full Uniform included) 
  • U7/U8 - $270 (Full Uniform included) 
  • U9/U10 - $285 (Full Uniform included)
    • LATE REGISTRATION: After September 22th, 2024, at 11:59pm - All registrations after this date, will be considered late and if we are able to place  your child onto a team, an Additional Fee of $25.00 will be assessed. 
      • ** All late registrants will be placed on a wait list and will not be guaranteed a roster spot. Some age groups may fill up before the posted deadlines. DO NOT DELAY!

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION FEE?

  • 15 Weeks Training Season 
  • One/two practices per week (depending on age group) 
  • Kid Safe Program - Background check for all Coaches/Technical and admin staff 
  • Capelli Uniform Full Set – 2 jerseys, 1 pair of shorts, and 1 pair of socks 
  • FYSA (Florida Youth Soccer Association) Player Registration Fee 
  • End of the Year Jamboree and Awards 
  • Club Overhead Costs (fields maintenance, equipment, utilities, administrative expenses, website) 
  • Proactive and visible Technical Director and Technical Staff 
  • For the U7/8 & U9/10 age groups, End of the Season Tournament (No extra Cost)

Players are responsible for: 

  • Shin guards 
  • Soccer cleats 
  • Soccer ball
    • U5/U6 - Size 3
    • U7/U8 & U9/U10 - Size 4

 

WHEN/WHERE ARE THE GAMES AND PRACTICES?

(DATES AND TIMES SUBJECT TO CHANGE) 

  • Practices will begin the week of October 21st, 2024. 
  • All games will be played on Saturdays beginning November 2nd, 2024. (U7/U8 & U9/U10 teams will have 15 weeks due to End of the Season Tournament AT NO EXTRA COST)
  • All practices and games will be held at Benito Middle School, 10065 Cross Creek Blvd, Tampa, FL 33647

@ IF YOU HAVE A SPECIAL REQUEST FOR THE TRAINING DAYS AND/OR COACH PREFERENCE, YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION DURING THE ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY. AFTER DEADLINE (09/22/242), NO SPECIAL REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. IT WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE (1) SPECIAL REQUEST PER PLAYER.

CAN I MAKE A SPECIAL REQUEST?

@ IT WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE (1) SPECIAL REQUEST PER PLAYER.

Special requests for Coach and practice nights are available during the registration process. These requests must be placed in the player’s GotSoccer account during registration. This special request would be considered if requested before the deadline (09/22/24).

Special requests via e-mail, text or via phone call will not be accepted.

Special requests for a particular coach or practice night are not a guarantee.

If you have any special request (training nights, coach preference, team allocation), IT WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE REQUEST PER PLAYER.

YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION DURING THIS ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS ONLY. TYPE IT HERE!! No special request will be accepted after the deadline. We will do our best to accommodate your request but may not be able to honor it due to the roster sizes limits, game formats, field space and the logistics of the League.

 

A $50.00 fee (in addition to the club’s standard refund policy) will be kept if a member decides to not participate when a special request is not granted. (This will only be allowed if the request is submitted before the deadline 9/24/24).

 

REFUND POLICY

I understand that the Chargers SC reserves the right to deny any partial or full refund once registration and payment has been been made. However, for cases of reasonable documented excuses (illness, severe injury, family relocation, etc.) that are filed with the Club BEFORE SEPTEMBER 22, 2024, a partial refund MAY be granted. Any refund consideration will be reduced by the hard costs the Club has already incurred from your child’s registration. I/we acknowledge and understand that we are responsible for payment in full for the registration fee even if we decide we do not want to continue through the end of the seasonal year. Once the player has been assigned to a team, there are NO refunds or cancelations.
